Newark Connect is a reporting tool designed to empower citizens by enabling them to identify and report non-emergency neighborhood observations. This user-friendly app offers an accurate GPS location feature, allowing users to precisely pinpoint the location of their report within the City of Newark. It further enhances usability by providing a comprehensive list of categories for users to select from when filing their report.

One notable feature of Newark Connect is the ability for users to file reports and contribute to the community anonymously. In addition to this, users can also upload relevant photos and review existing reports, fostering increased transparency and collaboration among citizens.

Upon submitting a report, a ticket is automatically generated and routed to the appropriate municipal department, as well as the City 4311 center. This streamlined process ensures that reports are promptly addressed and effectively handled. Furthermore, citizens have the capability to track the status of their reported issues and even view observations submitted by others, fostering a sense of community engagement and shared responsibility.
